Investigating the Formulas

The formulas of each law can be further mathematically changed to solve for a specific variable.

Boyle's Law

This formula can also be:

P1 = P2 x V2/ V1
V1 = P2 x V2/ P1
P2 = P1 x V1/ V2
V2 = P1 x V1/ P2

When solving for a specific variable, you can use any versions of the formula or the original formula if you desire.

Charles' Law

This formula can also be:

V1 = V2 x T1/ T2
T1 = V1 x T2/ V2
V2 = V1 x T2/ T1
T2 = V2 x T1/ V1

When solving for a specific variable, you can use any versions of the formula or the original formula.

Combined Gas Law

This formula can also be:

P1 = P2 x V2 x T1/ T2 x V1
V1 = P2 x V2 x T1/ T2 x P1
T1 = P1 x V1 x T2/ T1 x V2
P2 = P1 x V1 x T2/ P2 x V2
V2 = P1 x V1 x T2/ T1 x P2
T2 = P2 x V2 x T1/P1 x V1

When solving for a specific variable, you can use any versions of the formula or the original formula.
